What Can the Knock Home Swap Program Do for You?

Today’s real estate market is very competitive for buyers, and many of them are finding that the homes they’re interested in are going under contract with multiple offers. Therefore, getting the home you want can be quite a challenge if you have to sell your current home first.

Enter the Knock Home Swap program. As Keller Williams New Tampa agents, we have exclusive access to this program, are some of the only agents in the entire state of Florida who can offer you this program. Knock is a lender who will let you write an offer for a home you want to buy without requiring you to sell your current house first. They’ll loan you the existing equity in your home (up to 10% of the price of the new home you’re buying) so you can cover the down payment for your new house. After you’ve closed on that home and moved in, you’re free to list your first property on the open market and get full market value for it. This isn’t an iBuyer situation where you’re required to sell the home below its market value.

Knock will even cover up to six months of your previous mortgage so you won’t have to make two mortgage payments. Additionally, they’ll loan you up to $25,000 worth of equity so you can prepare your original home for the market and ensure it sells for top dollar.
