3 Tips That Will Help You Buy the Home You Want
These three tips will help you close on the home you want.
If you plan on buying a home this spring, here are three tips that will ensure your success:
1. Have a strong pre-approval letter. This letter verifies that your income, credit, and assets have been verified by your lender. Along with having a strong pre-approval letter, make sure your lender is willing to reach out to listing agents on your behalf and advocate for how strong you are as a buyer and how quickly you can close on your loan.
2. Do your homework and have realistic expectations of what it will take to win the home you want. This means you need to know your market stats. For example, we share all the latest MLS stats with our buyers because we want them to know how many homes are available and how many other buyers are out there. We also research the sellers of the homes our buyers are interested in so we can find out what’s important to them and craft the perfect offer!

3. Don’t go it alone! It’s a challenging market for buyers, but homes are still closing every day and we’ve had tremendous success helping our buyers win multiple-offer situations. We’ve even found off-market properties for them to buy. We go the extra mile to help them find the right home, so make sure you work with a proactive agent who will locate the newest listings and act quickly to help you close on the one you want.
Prices have gone up (and it can feel like they’ll continue to do so), but with interest rates as low as they are, home affordability is at a great level. The mortgage payments buyers are getting rival any we’ve ever seen, so you can be encouraged. If you’ve had trouble finding the right home or have missed out on some great opportunities, we’d love to help you get back on track. Just give us a call, and we’ll start planning for your future.
As always, if you have any other real estate questions, feel free to reach out to us as well. We look forward to hearing from you.
