Tampa Home Sales are in for December 2011: Home inventory goes even lower
December Greater Tampa Home Sales statistics from the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors are out (including Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas Counties single family homes, townhomes, condos, and villas) and home inventory is now even lower than before.
If you have already purchased in the past couple years, congratulations. If you are still holding out NOW is the time to schedule a consultation with one of our professional Buyer Specialists to see which option is right for you—we can help you with new construction, purchasing traditional, foreclosure, or short sale property. A recent Tampa Bay Times article predicted a 7.4% price increase for the Tampa Bay area , and while no one has a crystal ball, anyone who knows Tampa area real estate can tell you that the inventory of bank-owned foreclosures is lower now than in anytime in the past 18 months, and that the great listings priced right are going under contract relatively quickly.
Remember, no one knows where the bottom is until we are back on the way up. Take a look at these numbers and judge for yourself.
